Remembering Mom

Take Time to Play – it is the secret of staying young.

This was my mom’s favorite “Take Time”. She didn’t just say it, no, she showed it! Our mom showed us that it was alright to be silly. It was a gift that our family still shares to this day. Some more than others. (smile)

It’s been 3 years since she passed and yesterday, I finally got the courage to go and visit her grave site. I admit, I needed my little sister Clarice to go with me, however, we did it.

This post is dedicated to our mom, Edna M. Taylor.

I have been blessed in SO many ways along my journey. As we all have, I’ve had my share of ups and downs. God has blessed me with this ministry and through it I have learned the value of “glancing” in the rearview mirror of life, but focusing and dreaming out ahead through the windshield of life.

Perhaps the greatest blessing that He has ever given me is my mom. She NEVER turned her back on me. Her health had taken a turn and I had the privilege of being able to care for her. Ten, fifteen, twenty years ago, I was caught up in the grip of addiction, BUT GOD delivered me from my dark room and I am able, not only to be found, but able to take care of my mom when she needed me.

Thank you, Lord!

Today, I am dedicating this ministry to my mother, Edna M. Taylor with loving memories.

My mom, my support, my best friend.

With Love and Appreciation,

Your son,

Charles W. Taylor, Jr.

Always will be a part of my ministry...

Edna M. Taylor, born on August 13, 1925 and went home to be with the Lord on October 24, 2013.
